Rejected twice before I found what actually worked.
Hi, I'm Suci — an LPDP 2021 awardee and Master of Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Auckland. Before LPDP, I was rejected by two other scholarships — Ajinomoto and INPEX — while I was pregnant, and honestly wasn't sure I'd get into any scholarship at all.
When I applied for Ajinomoto and INPEX, I tried to sound impressive — long lists of achievements, ambitious phrasing. Neither worked, and looking back, I wasn't able to give those applications everything they needed while pregnant and adjusting to a lot at once.
By the time LPDP applications opened, I'd already done the hard work of finding my real angle — a specific, honest answer to why I wanted this and what I'd actually do with it, not a list of achievements. That's the essay and study plan I submitted, and I believe it's what got me the highest overall score in my batch, on the first try.
I completed my degree in 2025 and I'm back home in Indonesia now, raising Aisyah and preparing for a PhD — still thinking about how much easier that first application would have been with the right guidance, which is exactly why I keep helping others through it.

Why I coach
I started helping other applicants informally, one essay at a time, because I remembered exactly what it felt like to not know where to start. Several applicants later, I turned it into something more structured — this website.
Outside of essays and research
I'm usually somewhere between a lecture, a load of laundry, and a long walk with my kid. I like slow mornings, good coffee, and writing things down before I forget them.
